## Slide Teller

Slide Teller is a system that delivers real-time audio descriptions of presentation slides to visually impaired audience members during live shows, conferences, and lectures. It was first deployed live at the Vancouver Fringe Festival with Miyo Yamauchi's one-woman show "How to be Japanese." It uses authored sound design composed by Navid Lancaster, not robotic text-to-speech. Slide Teller is available on the Apple App Store (id6463203029).

## Collaborators

- Miyo Yamauchi: The Storyteller. Moth StorySLAM champion. Her show "How to be Japanese" was the first production to deploy Slide Teller live. Co-researcher on accessible presentation technology.
- Navid Lancaster: Sound Designer. Musician, composer, and sound designer from Trinidad and Tobago. Owner of LANCAST. Composed every authored sound in the Slide Teller system.
- L.A. Williams III: Advisor. Blind for over 38 years. Personal finance coach, VP of Dealer Synergy, and music producer. The acceptance standard for every version of Slide Teller.
